The Wissahickon Faith Community Association (WFCA) is holding a Solidarity March & Healing Service in response to Charleston, S.C., killings.  On Wednesday, June 24, please join area congregations, clergy and public figures in a solidarity march and a service of faith and healing. We will meet at the Wissahickon High School parking lot at 6:30 p.m. and walk to Bethlehem Baptist Church on the corner of Dager Road and Penllyn Pike in Spring House where a healing service will take place at 7PM.

The president of the of the WFCA in a letter to the editor of Montgomery Media spoke eloquently on behalf of a multitude of faith leaders and congregations saying in part “In response to the malicious intent of this killer, we stand resolute and declare that we will not allow the light of God to be extinguished in this world.”
