“Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:7) That’s the central message that will inspire young minds and hearts at the next Eastern PA Conference Youth Rally, set for Sunday, April 24, from 3 to 7 PM, at Hopewell UMC in Downingtown.
The rally will feature Todd Waites keyboardist for the Christian music group ApologetiX.  Also appearing will be Hopewell’s own talented #JesusTrending Christian youth band, along with  several remarkable youth and young adults: Scott Smith from the Philadelphia Project, Anthony Washington from New Vision UMC, and Grace Puy of Hopewell and Jenny Kang of Drexel U.

‘Adam Frano, co-founder and co-director (with his wife Danielle) of Erie Young Adults (EYA) in Erie, Pa., will be our featured guest speaker. EYA, established in 2012, supports nearly 150 young adult members in their 20s and 30s by connecting them with each other to address their diverse needs and interests, including many who struggle with addictions, suicidaltendencies, loneliness, unemployment and other issues. Members of this nondenominational ministry meet every Tuesday and work together in many ways to better their lives and their community.’
