ADVENT DREAMS BIBLE STUDY
All are welcome to “A four week Bible Study beginning Saturday, November 26, 2016 from 10 AM to 11 AM based on Matthew 1:18-2:23.
There will be time in fellowship to study and discuss for four Saturday mornings beginning Saturday November 26 from 10 AM to 11 AM,
One of the many ways God communicates to His people is through dreams. We will have coffee and donuts to warm up and learn that God is sovereign to bring salvation to all people through Jesus, God’s Son sent to us on the first Advent. The study is prepared by Pastor Steve Morton at Hopewell United Methodist Church.
This study from Matthew 1:18 to Matthew 2:23 is based on a sequence of four nighttime dreams. It will review how God used dreams as a vehicle for guidance, warning, and challenge among the heroes in Matthew’s Christmas Story—and invites participants to consider whether God speaks to them and to the church in dreams today. Do you believe that God can still speak
to you in dreams?”
Quotes are taken from the flyer prepared for the study.
